Job DescriptionThis role offers a starting range of $20 to $25 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.
We are seeking a Production Clerk to assist in all activities of ink production. You will serve as the lead person when covering for the shift Supervisor. As a Production Clerk, you will be expected to promote organizational goals and work according to the work instructions, being responsible for:
Performing the job duties of an Inkmaker/Ink Technician when not covering for a Shift SupervisorTending mills in a safe and efficient manner to grind the raw materialsWeighing quantities of raw materials for use in the manufacturing of high-quality printing inkOperating one or more mixers in a safe and efficient mannerPossessing a mental and physical working knowledge of all activities on the production floorDemonstrating work in accordance with work instructionsEstablishing or adjusting work priorities to meet production schedulesExplaining production tasks that need to be accomplished for that particular production dayEstimating, requesting, and inspecting materialsInteracting with personnel in QC, Warehouse and others to accomplish the daily agendaRecommending measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of productControlling the movement of production into and out of the departmentBeing committed to participation in the TPM activities of the facility with a clear understanding of all KPI targetsBeing committed to supporting the TPM activities of all pillars to the plant floorQualificationsTo perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
Have a high school diploma or GED equivalentHave 2 to 5 years of related work experienceBe able to match colors effectively and pass a color vision testDemonstrate good math and basic computer skillsHave good verbal, written, and reading comprehension abilitiesBe detail-orientedHave good attendance and punctualityBe able to lift up to 50 lbsIn addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:
