Tempco Glass Fabrication, LLC is a MBE-certified, family-owned glass fabricator located in Flushing, Queens. We specialize in cutting-edge glass fabrication while maintaining a customer-first approach and local charm. Our commitment to sustainability and innovation drives us to produce energy-efficient low-e insulated glass units, crucial to decarbonization. We partner with diverse clients, including glaziers, manufacturers, developers, and architects, and advance photovoltaic glass and vacuum insulated glass technologies to support green building and a sustainable future. We are seeking motivated production workers/warehouse shipping helpers to join our team. We will provide all the necessary training and support to help the right candidate succeed.

Regular Working hours:

Morning shift, Monday to Friday from 5:00 am to 2:00 pm; Day shift, Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm; night shift helper, Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 12:00 am (including a 1-hour break). Some rotating Fridays and Saturdays according to management arrangement. However, hours might vary according to the production arrangements.

Responsibilities include:

Follow appropriate safety procedures for handling glasses. Loading and unloading trucks, vans, automobiles, or dollies. Communicating with customers regarding order details. Operate glass fabrication machinery such as cutting tables, polishers, washers, laminating, tempering or insulating lines. Follow supervisors' directions and production orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized workstation and comply with all safety and PPE requirements. Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members to achieve production goals.

Requirements:

Diligent, eager to learn and cooperate, punctual, focused, and in good physical condition that can lift 50+ lbs. on a regular basis. Follow orders and instructions. Detail and safety-oriented Previous shipping or factory experience is a plus, but not required. A second language of either Spanish or Chinese is strongly preferred
