Sheet Metal Fabricator /

Metal Shop Worker Pay:

$22-$25/hr. Based on Experience Full-Time | Monday-Friday Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Sheet Metal Fabricator / Metal Shop Worker for a local manufacturing company. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined and comfortable working with sheet metal, cutting equipment, hand tools, and measuring tools . Candidates do not need to be highly experienced fabricators—we are open to individuals with metal shop, machine operating, production, or related hands-on experience who are willing to learn.

Responsibilities:

Cut and prepare sheet metal according to required measurements Operate shears, saws, and other metal fabrication equipment Measure materials accurately using a tape measure Perform basic sheet metal fabrication and assembly Use hand and power tools safely Read basic measurements and work instructions Inspect completed pieces for accuracy and quality Assist with bending, forming, cutting, and preparing metal components Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications:

Previous sheet metal, fabrication, machine operating, or metal shop experience preferred Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical ability will be considered Must know how to accurately use a tape measure Comfortable working with hand and power tools Ability to lift and handle sheet metal and other materials Strong attention to detail Reliable and able to work full-time

Pay:
