Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Producers, Coordinating Producers to edit DTC exclusive content Support daily curation of DTC exclusive content across all platforms Research and fact-check stories quickly and accurately Perform data research and basic analytics to identify audience trends, content performance, and emerging market opportunities Identify and flag standout video and audio clips for exclusive DTC exclusive content Pitch creative for DTC, including engaging social media news stories and ongoing trends (both daily and long-term) Assist with special projects as assigned by the Senior Director of Content Strategy (e.g., decks, research, analytics, data summaries) As needed, support DTC community efforts, including content moderation Qualifications At least one year of experience in news production / social media (including internships) Knowledge of video editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Pro Tools, YouTube Studio) Knowledge of Vmix, Riverside Willingness to work non-traditional hours (weekends and/or late nights) to service needs of a 24/7 news product Flexibility to respond to breaking news situations outside of regular working hours Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines Willingness to learn how to edit short- and long-form video content Deep knowledge and passion for news and politics Deep knowledge and interest of digital content strategy, social media, audience insights, streaming, livestreaming space Strong communicative and collaboration skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Additional Job Requirements:
Must be willing to work in New York, NY. Must be willing to work weekends. Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.Salary Range:
$30.00- $32.
