Job Description

Summary:
The Plant Production Worker - Packaging will be responsible for retrieving, palletizing, and wrapping products assigned on tickets sent by Customer Service. Additionally, this position is required to learn all stations of the Bag-In-Box (BIB) machine and offload drum trailers. Essential duties of
Position:
Quality inspection of containers Draining and checking line cleanliness Sampling packaged goods for quality retain records Labeling packaged products Filling various package units per target weights and volumes Programming fill line machines to target weights and volumes Post-fill inspection(s) for filled package units, including but not limited to ensuring containers are properly closed and sealed, wiping down debris/excess fluid(s) Moving product(s) to/from blenders and stock tanks Securing package products for shipment (i.e. palletizing, shrink-wrap, zip tie closures) Completing necessary inventory documents, including but not limited to Production Tickets, Transfer Logs, Sales Order Bills of Lading, etc. Inventory verification of bulk tanks and storage units Aware and trained on all applicable work instructions and procedures in specific areas in the plant. Work to complete scheduled work activities with focus in particular area. Assure warehouses and work areas are clean. Assure work environment is safe and is operating in a safe manner Other non-day to day task may be assigned to improve organization, efficiency and growth Will be asked to work in other areas within the plant to assist in different task Other duties assigned by management

Qualifications:
High School/GED required Minimum of 1 years of experience preferred in a related position
