Production Worker

About Us:

Nortek Powder Coating LLC is a growing manufacturer and supplier of high-quality powder coatings. We pride ourselves on friendly service, reliability, and taking care of our customers and team. We're looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Production Worker to join our crew and help keep our operations running smoothly.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide production support in the manufacturing of powder coating
• Read and interpret production formulas and instructions
• Load raw materials into various machines
• Perform visual color inspection of finished products
• Evaluate and test various coating properties for accuracy and quality control
• Package and sort finished products
• Assist in pre- and post-shift inspections of equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Be able to learn and help fill in where production help is needed

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

• Able to walk and stand for most of the workday
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to operate heavy machinery such as grinders, mixers, extruders
• Able to perform basic math
• Experience operating a fork-lift is a plus
• Powder coating experience is a plus but not required
• High School Diploma
