Heat Press Operator / Production Assistant Yoursport Custom Apparel — Central Valley, NY Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-3:30 PM $19-$21/hour, based on experience Additional hours may be available seasonally and during busy production periods. Yoursport Custom Apparel is a busy, established custom apparel shop looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our production team. The primary responsibility of this position is operating our heat press and producing custom apparel. However, this is not simply a "stand at a machine" position. We are looking for someone who is comfortable using computers, can follow detailed instructions, communicate professionally, and help wherever needed in a small-business environment. What You'll Do Operate commercial heat press equipment Apply transfers and graphics to shirts, hoodies, uniforms and other apparel Read and follow job-specific production instructions Use websites and computer-based systems to access orders and application instructions Check finished products for placement, quality and accuracy Organize, count and prepare completed orders Answer the business phone professionally when needed Help keep the production area clean and organized Assist with other day-to-day shop tasks as needed What We Need Reliable attendance Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-3:30 PM Strong basic computer skills are

Comfortable navigating websites and learning new computer systems Comfortable answering and speaking professionally on the phone Strong attention to detail Ability to follow instructions accurately Ability to work independently and stay productive Positive attitude and willingness to learn Previous heat press, screen printing, embroidery or apparel-production experience is a plus, but it is not required. We will train the right person. We care more about finding someone who is reliable, capable, comfortable with technology and takes pride in doing good work. This is an in-person position. Monday-Friday availability during the listed hours is required. Additional hours may be available seasonally and during periods of increased production.

Pay:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.5 per week
