General Plant / Manufacturing Worker

General Plant / Manufacturing Worker Now hiring a full time General Plant / Manufacturing Worker for a 24/7 operation. This is an excellent growth opportunity for a motivated, hard-working, punctual individual.

Job Responsibilities:

Clearly and respectfully communicates with supervisors and coworkers Follows instructions from more experienced employees to operate machines, hold or supply materials and tools, and load and unload items from machines and assembly lines. Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. Participates in the shipment loading process. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; proper tool storage; sweep, dust and mop. Organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times Cleans and lubricates equipment Locates parts, tag them with identifying text and numbers, and record information such as gauge readings, products produced and manufacturing times. Monitors for defective products or equipment malfunctions, and reports any problems to higher-level employees. Assists with any repairs/maintenance if necessary. Wears the proper safety equipment (PPE) Maintains a tidy and safe workspace. Adheres to company rules and regulations.

Job Requirements:

This role requires a general aptitude with math, record-keeping, and attention to detail. High school diploma or GED is preferred Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs, ascending/descending stairs & ladders, working in extreme temperatures, and general physical fitness.
