Job Description

Summary A small, hands-on manufacturing team is seeking a Production & Quality Assistant to support production, testing, inventory, documentation, and general organization. Key Responsibilities Run functional tests on boards, cables, keypads, and power supplies; label and record results. Pick parts kits and prepare components (cutting wire/tubing, prepping spacers, removing hardware). Maintain inventory counts; flag low stock; reconcile physical counts. Organize paper records; scan and structure electronic files; help design better filing systems. Document defects clearly Keep benches and work areas organized; box finished items; print labels; assist with small projects. This is a direct-hire, full-time position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pay is commensurate with experience, starting at $21 per hour. This is a small company, and the benefits package is negotiated to fit the employee. SIMPLE IRA.
Required Qualifications Clear spoken and written English; confident raising issues. Detail-oriented; follows written instructions exactly. Comfortable with computers, data entry, scanning, and writing procedures. Manual dexterity and good near vision for small components. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Preferred Degree or practical experience in engineering, electronics, repair, quality, or process disciplines. Exposure to 8D, root cause analysis, corrective action, ISO 9001. Experience with work instructions, SOPs, 5S, lean, or inventory/document systems. Ability to read a bill of materials or simple assembly drawing.
Pay:
From $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
