Mill Worker

Mercer Landmark is in search of a full-time Mill Operator for our Celina feed facility on 2nd shiftPosition Summary This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties including working in and around the feed mill operation assisting in feed manufacturing, loading feed trucks, unloading ingredients, and driving forklift. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Operating WEM automation making food for animals. Working outside and in the facility doing various tasks as needed. Daily housekeeping Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly facility Customer service is our priority: Serve patrons in a manner that promotes our company, promotes customer service, and delivers our patrons the services they need to succeed with their operations. Performing other work-related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Must be highly motivated and able to work independently. Possess effective verbal and written communication skills. Basic reading skills Must be organized and able to prioritize and multi-task. Possess basic knowledge of workplace safety procedures. Ideal candidate would have some experience driving a forklift. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver's license prior to employment. Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work. Willingness and ability to perform manual work following instructions. Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used in heavy/highway construction work. Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. Understand the seasonality of the farm supply business and the in-season time commitment. Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with customers and individuals at all levels of the organization.

Benefit Package:

Qualified applicants will be paid hourly based on experience.

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
