Shifts Available:

1st, 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday 2nd, 2:30pm-10:30pm,

Monday-Friday Rate:

$22.00 (to start) (2nd shift offers $1.00 shift differential = $23.00)

Essential Functions:

Provide team leadership in the safe and efficient running of filling lines to produce quality product for on-time shipment to the customer. Responsible for the correct set up and production of orders according to customer specs. Train, delegate and assign appropriate tasks to the production teammates assigned to the work area, manage the team in a positive manner to produce expected results. Operate filling equipment, complete set up, clean out, and changeover of the line with the support of assigned production teammates to minimize downtime. Read and follow the fill line work order and instructions to ensure the finished product meets customer specifications and GMP requirements. Meet production goals and produce quality product with correct fill weights, batch numbers, label placement, packing and stacking patterns, etc., report any problems or errors in the production run promptly to the shift supervisor before proceeding. Collaborate with the process improvement manager to create and enforce standardized work methods. Accurately complete necessary paperwork and documentation. Interface with the warehouse to ensure timely staging of packaging materials for production runs, and liquid processing for product delivery to the line. Complete line clearance before commencing next run. Perform minor maintenance and repair of equipment to prevent downtime, promptly inform the shift supervisor or maintenance of more complex equipment malfunctions for speedy repair. Uphold plant rules and safe operating procedures on the line, refer issues of teammate's non-compliance to the shift supervisor to be addressed. Provide updates as necessary to the shift supervisor, and oncoming production team leader at shift change. Maintain 5S standards for safety and good housekeeping daily, complete these tasks prior to handing the line off to the oncoming shift. May run the forklift to help facilitate production if trained and authorized. Perform other duties and completes projects as assigned. Lifting and moving objects (to the waist) up to 40 pounds frequently. Stand/walk-up to 100% of the time.

Qualifications:

Proven production leadership experience in a manufacturing or factory environment, chemical manufacturing preferred. Reading and math proficiency with 2 or more years experience in manufacturing and production line work. Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions. Mechanical aptitude with ability to use various hand tools for maintenance and repair. Machine knowledge and thorough understanding of production and manufacturing processes. Good interpersonal skills and communications.
