Job Description
Terrasmart is the leading turn-key solution provider for solar mounting systems. We design, engineer, manufacture, and install solar mounting systems for commercial and utility scale projects. Position Summary Our Production Associates work on the fabrication of steel to be used in the construction of solar panel mounting systems.
Shifts Available:
First Shift, 7am to 3:30 pm, Monday throughFriday Primary Responsibilities:
Operate machinery to form steel products. Lift, bend, and squat while handling steel. Assemble products with hand and power tools. Read blueprints to ensure correct assembly. Enter product information into the ERP system. Measure and quality-check finished products. Perform maintenance on machinery. Exchange or repair machine parts as needed. Operate forklifts to move materials. Follow safety regulations. Inspect raw materials for quality.Secondary Responsibilities:
Perform additional duties as needed to cover absences or balance workloads.Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. 3+ years in manufacturing (heavy machinery preferred). 2+ years of forklift experience (propane preferred). 1+ year of basic ERP data entry experience.Technical Requirements:
Ability to measure accurately to 1/32". Ability to read blueprints and technical instructions. Effective communication skills with coworkers and managers. •Sponsorship not available for this opportunity•Physical Requirements Able to squat, bend and lift up to 65 lbs. without assistance. Able to operate equipment, including forklifts, safely and able to understand and follow safety protocols. Able to stand for up to 10 hours per day and to walk for extended periods of time. Able to work in dynamic, non-climate-controlled facility with fluctuations in temperature.Work Conditions Environment:
