You'll be:
- + Operating a variety of CNC and manual machines, including Haas Mills, Haas Lathes, Bridgeport mills, drill presses, and band saws + Identifying appropriate raw materials, tooling, and work-holding devices for each job + Utilizing measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial calipers, indicators, and edge finders to ensure quality + Reading and interpreting blueprints, job methods, and procedural instructions + Machining parts to specification, checking your own work, and following set-up sheet instructions + Setting tool lengths, work offsets, and performing basic programming (GibbsCam experience a plus) + Setting up and operating multi-axis CNC press brakes, planning working procedures, and selecting dies and tooling + Using basic hand tools, performing basic math, and documenting work efficiently + Maintaining a clean, safe work area and following all safety and housekeeping guidelines •This job might be an outstanding fit if you:•+ Have a High School Diploma or GED (Technical School certificate/degree preferred) + Bring 5-7 years of machine shop experience for CNC Machinist roles, and at least 1 year of sheet metal fabrication for Press Brake Operator roles + Are familiar with Haas controls, G & M codes, and can read blueprints and procedural instructions + Are adept with measuring equipment and able to complete tasks and documentation accurately + Can thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team + Are physically able to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repetitively in a factory setting As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
