Job Description

Vector's partner located in Cleveland, OH offers a complete package of stainless steel pipe, tubing, fittings, outlets, thread tape, flanges and valves as well as the nation's largest, most comprehensive inventory of both leaded & lead-free cast brass fittings, flanges and pipe. They are in search of Production Floor Associates to join their team! 1st Shift $17/hr.
Responsibilities:
Performs constant shop floor walk throughs to understand ever changing scope of work Moves materials and goods from one location to another many times over Keep up 5S efforts by cleaning and organization throughout the building: sweep, mop, scrub/buff, seal, wash surfaces, etc. designated areas as needed Conducts activities with personal accountability in the performance of all duties Remove snow and ice in the winter as needed Operate Powered Industrial Equipment to move materials of all types Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Extensive walking, standing, bending for entire shift Should be comfortable lifting and carrying buckets. Pushing and pulling bulky material and carts weighing up to 200 lbs. High school graduate, G.E.D., or equivalent preferred Ability to do basic high school level math Ability to read, understand instructions, and operate cleaning equipment and related materials Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally Ability to work outdoors under adverse weather conditions (winter snow / ice removal) Ability to climb ladders and stairs as needed Interacting positively with all co-workers Good attendance is an expectation of any role
