Part-Time / Seasonal About the Position First Choice Photography is looking for an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Office & Production Assistant to support our Office Manager and help keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly. This position combines customer service, administrative support, data management, graphic design, and photography production support. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on a computer, communicating with customers and school clients, managing multiple projects, and paying close attention to details. Our business can move quickly, especially during the busy school photography season, so we are looking for someone who can prioritize tasks, solve problems, and jump in wherever help is needed. Primary Responsibilities Assist the Office Manager with daily office operations and administrative tasks. Respond to customer and client emails in a professional and timely manner. Assist customers with questions regarding orders, Picture Day, online galleries, shipping, retakes, and other photography-related concerns. Communicate with schools, sports organizations, and other clients as needed. Perform accurate data entry and maintain student, customer, and client information. Prepare, organize, review, and update spreadsheets and photography data. Assist with importing, matching, organizing, and verifying student and image information. Perform quality-control checks on photographs, orders, graphics, and customer information before production or delivery. Identify errors or missing information and work with the Office Manager to resolve issues. Create and modify basic graphics, flyers, signs, templates, and other photography products. Assist with preparing images and files for production. Help organize incoming and outgoing photography orders and materials. Maintain organized digital files and office records. Assist with special projects and other office or production responsibilities as assigned by the Office Manager. Skills & Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software. Experience with data entry and spreadsheets. Basic graphic design skills. Ability to review images and information for quality and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Comfortable working independently after receiving direction. Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities. Good written communication and professional email skills. Dependable and able to maintain confidentiality when working with student and customer information. Helpful Experience Experience with any of the following is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person: Adobe Photoshop or similar photo-editing software Canva or other graphic design software Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets School or sports photography Customer service Order processing or fulfillment Working with student or school databases Digital image organization and file management What We're Looking For This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys being the person behind the scenes who keeps everything organized. Some days may involve answering customer emails and updating spreadsheets, while others may involve checking hundreds of images, preparing graphics, correcting student information, or helping the Office Manager solve an unexpected problem. Because First Choice Photography works with schools, students, and families, accuracy, professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail are extremely important. The Office & Production Assistant will work directly under the Office Manager and will serve as an important support person for both our office and photography production operations.
Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 - 30.0 per week
