Job Description

The Assembly/Tear Down Associate is responsible for disassembling and preparing units for the paint or stain process. This role plays an important part in maintaining product quality and supporting production efficiency by ensuring all units are properly prepared according to production specifications. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to identify and correct issues, and the ability to maintain pace with production schedules in a fast-paced environment.
Shift:
Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3pm (overtime as business requires).
Pay:
$21.50/hr+
Key Responsibilities:
Read work orders to determine production specifications for each door. Move doors and materials between workstations, including lifting up to 75 pounds. Inspect products and components to identify defects, production errors, and quality issues. Use electric and hand tools to fabricate, assemble, and disassemble fiberglass, aluminum, and wood products. Prepare doors and door components for paint or stain applications. Perform touch-up work on missed areas after finished surfaces have properly dried.
Qualifications:
Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations-oriented environment preferred.
Requirements:
Satisfactory result on a pre-employment drug screening
