Description Pay:
$13.50/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-3:15 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM-10:00 AM
  • first shift will start at 8 am or 9 am for orientation.
Overtime:
Mandatory overtime may be required based on production needs, typically toward the end of the month. Overtime timing may vary depending on the production line. Position Overview We are seeking dependable and motivated Production Associates for a manufacturing facility in Gallipolis, Ohio. This is a hands-on manufacturing position involving the assembly, testing, and inspection of small electric motors and components. The ideal candidate is dependable, has good attention to detail, is comfortable working in a production environment, and is willing to learn and cross-train in different areas of the facility. Job Responsibilities
  • Assemble small electric motors and motor components.
  • Use hand tools, fixtures, and semi-automated production equipment.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, diagrams, blueprints, and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform visual inspections and basic quality checks.
  • Perform basic electrical and mechanical testing.
  • Identify defective components or problems with the production process or equipment.
  • Complete required production and quality documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Communicate material shortages, quality concerns, or equipment issues to the Team Lead.
  • Meet established production, quality, and attendance expectations.
  • Work as part of a team and assist with cross-training in different production areas.
  • Be willing to perform overtime when required by production needs. Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, machine operation, or similar experience is preferred but may not be required.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to read and understand basic diagrams or work instructions.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn different production processes.
  • Ability and willingness to cross-train and work in different areas as needed. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
  • Ability to visually inspect small components.
  • Ability to safely operate or work around manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to occasionally lift approximately 25-35 pounds.
  • Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks.
