Job Description

Purpose of Position:
The Technician will support the success of the New Model Planning department by creating, maintaining, and managing system Bills of Materials (BOMs), including associated costs. This position will also provide support for customer-driven design changes and new model activities across the Greenville, OH and Anderson, IN locations. Essential Job Functions Develop and maintain New Model Operation Standards for new and revised production processes. Participate in and support New Model Activity Development Teams (3PQP). Support the collection, analysis, and documentation of data related to New Model design changes. Set up, test, and maintain system requirements for customer-specified part markings. Create, maintain, and verify accurate system Bills of Materials (BOMs). Review and verify customer Bill of Material requirements and checks. Prepare and maintain monthly car-set detail reports. Maintain and update pricing system (Glovia) to ensure accurate product information. Collaborate with internal departments and external customers to support new model launches, engineering changes, and production requirements. Identify and resolve discrepancies in BOMs, costing, drawings, and production-related data. Experience and Knowledge Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and other data-management tools. Strong initiative with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and apply production-process knowledge to resolve issues. Ability to interpret 3D software and 2D drawings. Ability to understand manufacturing processes, production requirements, and related planning tools. Skills Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Positive attitude with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with both internal teams and external customers. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
