Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Line Inspector to join our manufacturing team in Lancaster. In this role, you will manage the operation of injection molding presses, ensuring that plastic components are created safely and efficiently in strict accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures. Core Responsibilities Monitor machinery for signals indicating that the clamp has opened or parts are ready for removal, manually transferring items from the horizontal track or conveyor to the designated table. Ensure a seamless transition by relieving the incoming press operator without interrupting the ongoing production cycle. Review and adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures regarding the assembly, handling, and packaging of finished goods. Help maintain high quality standards by visually and physically inspecting molded parts for cracks, holes, or discoloration, and reporting any issues to management. Perform finishing tasks such as trimming flash, cutting sprues with hand tools, operating drill presses, and assembling components as required. Support accurate production tracking by maintaining detailed records, including production logs and scrap reports. Prepare inventory for storage or distribution by counting, stacking, and labeling boxes correctly. Contribute to a clean and organized workspace to ensure daily operational efficiency. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly following all company safety protocols. Perform additional tasks as requested by the production team. Required Qualifications Previous experience in a related role for one to two years is preferred. Maintain consistent and reliable attendance in accordance with company policy. Demonstrate the ability to understand verbal or visual instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and peers. Show strong attention to detail along with excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills. Possess the physical ability to lift, bend, reach, squat, and kneel, as well as stand or sit for extended durations. Be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled facility with high temperatures near production ovens. Ability to regularly lift or transport items weighing up to 35 pounds. Specific duties and overtime requirements may fluctuate depending on the assignment. Schedule 1st shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00am
  • 3:00pm, with mandatory Saturday overtime. 2nd shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00pm
  • 11:00pm, with mandatory Saturday overtime. 3rd shift: Sunday through Thursday, 11:00pm
  • 7:00am, with mandatory Friday overtime.
Compensation 1st shift: $15.00/hr, with overtime pay at $22.50/hr. 2nd & 3rd shifts: $15.50/hr, with overtime pay at $23.25/hr.
