As a Part-Time Production Assistant, you play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of finished products within our production facility. You contribute directly to our ability to meet production goals and maintain high standards of quality. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety are essential to our success.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Handles raw materials, ensuring proper storage and organization within the warehouse. Coats finished product in salt. Packages, seals, weighs, and labels products. Stocks and rotates awaiting fulfillment area. Manages inventory levels, conducting regular counts and reporting discrepancies. Performs quality control checks on materials and finished products, identifying and reporting any defects. Enters data accurately into inventory management systems, maintaining up-to-date records. Adheres to all safety procedures and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment. Assists with various warehouse operations, including loading and unloading trucks. Performs routine equipment maintenance, ensuring equipment is in good working order. Maintains a clean and organized work area, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency. Assists in other areas as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Experience in a warehouse or production environment.

Knowledge/Skills:

Proficiency in raw materials handling and inventory management. Knowledge of quality control procedures. Ability to accurately enter data into computer systems. Understanding of and adherence to safety procedures. Familiarity with warehouse operations. Must be able to communicate effectively in English to understand safety procedures and complete required documentation. Basic equipment maintenance skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in a similar production environment.

Physical Requirements/Work Conditions:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay:

$18.00 per hour
