Job Description

The Production Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently processing customer parts throughout the production cycle. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow technical procedures, and a commitment to quality, safety, and equipment operation. Key Responsibilities Accurately build, load, and box parts, including loading/unloading into units, baskets, tubs, racks, and other containers as required Operate, monitor, and control production equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures, shop travelers, and customer specifications Operate equipment from the control room to manage production cycles Create and adjust load diagrams to ensure proper part processing and efficiency Update and maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data Conduct gas analysis, including proper compressor usage and determining when and where to store reclaimed gas Set and monitor cycle temperatures and pressures to ensure optimal performance within defined tolerances Determine proper thermocouple placement and identify any that should be disregarded to ensure accurate readings Monitor venting cycles, including determining appropriate start temperatures and selecting proper can/ring sizes for loading parts Follow all established work procedures, safety protocols, and PPE requirements Comply with all Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) policies and regulations Maintain awareness of and respect all guards, barriers, and permit requirements at all times Report any irregularities, equipment issues, or safety concerns to a supervisor immediately Operate forklifts and cranes safely, as required Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions and procedures Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to report to work on time and maintain consistent attendance Effective communication and teamwork skills Willingness to accept feedback and continuously improve performance Ability to safely handle customer materials and prevent damage or loss Additional Information This position is responsible for the care and treatment of customer inventory.
