RESPONSIBILITIESOperate forklifts, counterbalance lifts, cherry pickers, turret trucks, and reach trucksUnload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them in designated areasTransport incoming and outgoing shipmentsInspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and troubleshoot when necessaryUse a handheld scanner or computer to review picklist, transfer orders, and track materialsComply with company safety protocols and always wear protective equipmentLead a team to meet daily quotas, goals, and deadlinesHelp maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentTrain and supervise a team at each stage of productionProvide documentation with confirmed counts and product verification for inventoryEffectively communicate information and respond to questions from team members
