Job Summary Under direct supervision, performs tasks in one or more functional areas (Warehousing, Saw/CNC, Fab, Assembly, Glazing, Bunking, Panels, Break Metal). Focuses on learning and applying foundational skills while complying with safety and company policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Skills:

Demonstrates basic job knowledge. Actively seeks opportunities to learn new skills.

Production:

Participates in training and retains instructions. Meets productivity expectations for entry-level experience.

Quality:

Shows attention to detail and pride in work.

Safety:

Follows all safety protocols and PPE requirements. Works to prevent accidents and unsafe working conditions.

Problem Solving:

Begins developing problem-solving skills. Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent. Willingness to learn measuring tools and read blueprints. Able to follow directions and work under pressure. Manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Willing to work overtime when necessary to meet production requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand and /or walk for the duration of the scheduled shift (at least 10 hours). Ability to periodically work overtime to support the cyclical nature of the business (may entail a shift longer than 10 hours). Ability to squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift. Must be able to push and pull up to 100 lbs. on an occasional basis. Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 30 lbs. frequently, up to 50 lbs. occasionally and over 50 lbs. with a two-person lift. Exposure to noise and moderate but varying temperatures, humidity and other elements in warehouse environments.
