Job Title:

Production Worker Job Description This role focuses on safely handling and producing composite materials using production machinery and hand assembly processes. You operate equipment, work with chemicals, fluids, and compressed gases, assemble molds with basic hand tools, and load molds into furnaces and ovens. You also use an ERP system to accurately record production data and results, supporting consistent quality and traceability throughout the manufacturing process. Responsibilities Safely handle and produce composite materials using production machinery and hand assembly methods. Work with chemicals, fluids, and compressed gases in accordance with safety procedures and guidelines. Assemble molds using basic hand tools, ensuring proper setup and alignment for production. Load molds into furnaces and ovens, following specified work instructions and process parameters. Interpret and follow work orders autonomously to complete assigned production tasks. Perform visual quality checks on materials and finished products to ensure they meet required standards. Utilize an ERP system to enter production data, record results, and maintain accurate documentation. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety, efficiency, and product quality. Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement of production processes. Essential Skills At least 1 year of experience interpreting work orders autonomously in a production or similar environment. At least 1 year of experience performing visual quality checks or inspections. At least 1 year of experience using hand tools or other tools requiring manual dexterity. At least 1 year of experience in data entry or record keeping within a work setting. Ability to safely handle chemicals, fluids, and compressed gases following established procedures. Ability to assemble molds with basic hand tools and load them into furnaces or ovens. Comfort using ERP or similar systems to record production data and results. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work orders accurately. Reliability in adhering to scheduled shifts and production timelines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Any experience batching or mixing chemicals is a plus. Any experience working with composite materials is a plus. Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is beneficial. Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production machinery is advantageous. Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to evolving production requirements. Why Work Here? ERP systems are used regularly for data entry and record keeping. The position is on first shift, with standard schedules of either 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and candidates have some choice in selecting their preferred shift. Attire is typical for a production setting, where practical, safety-focused clothing and appropriate protective gear are expected. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miamisburg, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
