2989949244-2 Apply for this job now Job Description ConGlobal is seeking a Class B CDL Equipment Operator to safely transport containers and operate yard equipment in a fast-paced intermodal terminal environment. In this role, you will drive Class B vehicles, move and position containers, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and follow strict DOT and terminal safety standards. You'll coordinate with dispatch and yard personnel to support efficient rail, ocean, and trucking operations while maintaining accurate paperwork and logs. Responsibilities Operate Class B commercial vehicles to move and transport containers and equipment safely within and around the terminal Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete required DOT and company documentation Operate forklifts, yard goats, or other terminal equipment to load, unload, and position containers and trailers Follow all DOT, OSHA, and terminal safety procedures and immediately report hazards or incidents Coordinate with dispatch, yard supervisors, and rail/ocean/truck partners to support efficient cargo flow Secure loads properly and verify container identification, condition, and placement Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles and equipment Use handheld or onboard technology to receive work orders and update move status in real time Required Skills Class B CDL driving Air brake operation Forklift operation Heavy equipment operation Load securement DOT safety compliance Vehicle inspection (pre/post trip) Basic equipment maintenance Yard/terminal operations Logistics and dispatch communication
