The production lead will assist the supervisor/production manager in coordinating tasks of work based on production schedules and client demands.
Responsibilities:
Assigns workers to workstations to meet production requirements. Interprets process specifications for workers. Monitors production and adjusts work assignments, supply of material, and machine operation when necessary. Reports machine repairs to maintenance personnel. Confers with supervisor or production manager to receive instructions and exchange production information. Monitors quality to ensure customer specifications are met. Train employees on safety rules and policies and ensure they are followed. Assists in training production employees on work processes and production reporting. Monitor work areas for safety and take immediate action to correct any potential unsafe conditions or behaviors. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or relatable environment Minimum of 6 months of experience in manufacturing leadership Must be able to obtain forklift certification Able to lift up to 30 lbs. Able to walk/stand for >8hrs Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) MUST demonstrate the desire and aptitude to take Extreme Ownership of their role
