Objective:
Operate a punch press machine to produce parts and tools from various materials. Responsibilities include setup, tooling adjustments, and equipment maintenance for optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
  • Understand metal specifications and differences.
  • Produce parts to customer specifications safely and efficiently.
  • Operate pallet jack and forklift.
  • Read and interpret job prints, cards, and instructions.
  • Measure parts for quality using micrometers, gauges, calipers, and rulers.
  • Solve problems to improve productivity and quality.
Qualifications:
  • 1+ year stamping press experience (required).
  • Metal stamping experience.
  • Setup knowledge (preferred).
  • Experience with sheet metal fabrication (turret, laser, brake press).
Skills:
  • Setup knowledge (preferred).
  • Willingness to learn and cross-train.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team-oriented with attention to detail.
  • Experience with finish grinding and measuring tools.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and apply Lean principles.
Physical Requirements:
  • 95% standing/moving; occasional kneeling or reaching.
  • Lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Precise hand and finger movements.
Environmental Exposure:
  • Oil, grease, noise (up to 88 dB).
