Job Description

Finish and Pack Operator Pay:
$17.00•$19.00+
DOE Hours:
5:00am•1:00pm or 7am•3pm
Location:
Strongsville, OH We are seeking a detail-oriented F&P Operator to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will operate slitting and rewinding equipment, inspect finished products, perform quality checks, and prepare labels for shipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to consistently meet quality and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate slitting equipment and rewind tables used for product inspection Conduct offline inspections and inspect labels for defects Catch, inspect, and pack finished product coming off the press Perform required quality checks to ensure products meet established standards Use QAD to issue and receive products to work orders and print core and box labels Package finished labels for shipment and ensure boxes and cores are properly labeled Complete required production paperwork accurately Assist other F&P Operators with packing as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S practices Follow established environmental, quality, safety, and work instructions Complete additional production tasks as assigned
Key Requirements:
Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred Slitting experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to meet established quality and productivity standards Ability to read and understand production paperwork and tools Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and computer skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment High school diploma or equivalent Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods while operating machinery Ability to lift up to 35 pounds as needed Candidates must consent to a pre-employment background check and drug screen, and must be able to provide two professional job references.
