Job Summary Trophy Nut Company is seeking a reliable Production Operator & Equipment Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment while also operating production lines to support efficient, safe, and high-quality production. This role performs preventive maintenance, assists with equipment setup and changeovers, minimizes downtime, and follows all safety, food safety, and quality standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, adaptable, and willing to support both maintenance and production operations as business needs require. Responsibilities Living to Trophy Nut Mission and Beliefs, while following all safety procedures. Responsible for improving, maintaining, and repairing all equipment used in manufacturing and distribution functions by troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues. Support and execute plant specific maintenance strategies to achieve key plant performance goals. Support planning, scheduling, and maintenance activities. Follow all regulatory guidelines on maintenance of various systems while completing accurate record keeping for compliance purposes. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, including GMP's, policies, and regulations. Perform routine and emergency maintenance of manufacturing systems/equipment in a multi-craft environment, including instrumentation, mechanical and equipment repair. Maintain manufacturing and complex equipment by performing Preventative (PM) and Corrective Maintenance to ensure maximum life expectancy of machinery. Maintain excellent troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical skills. Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques. Notify appropriate leadership of unsafe, damaged work equipment and make recommendations regarding repair or replacement as needed. Follow FIFO practices when retrieving raw material for the lines. Promotes and incorporates 100% food safety and personal safety Ensure quality standards, specifications and policies are met or exceeded Preventing contamination Cleaning work area including equipment Complete all projects and duties assigned Meet or exceed efficiencies while communicating inefficiencies Regulate machine flow and speed Consistently able to changeover between lines in allowed standard times (sanitation and changeover) Utilize ERP system to complete jobs Take lead and provide directions to team while producing, changing over and cleaning. Skills & Requirements Must be able to perform maintenance functions in a manufacturing environment with emphasis on mechanical repair.
