It is a hands-on position supporting production operations across multiple shifts while developing workforce capabilities. Core Responsibilities Design and deliver welding training programs for: MIG TIG Stainless steel welding Emerging welding technologies Conduct annual welding recertifications and competency assessments.
Train and maintain qualifications for:
Forklift operations Crane operations Manufacturing safety programs Lead and support LEAN / continuous improvement initiatives. Investigate weld quality issues and support root-cause analysis efforts. Implement corrective actions and on-the-job training (OJT) to improve quality and consistency. Track training effectiveness, certifications, and compliance through systems such as: AG5 SAP SuccessFactors Other training/LMS platforms Support onboarding and workforce development programs.
Knowledge & Experience:
Associate's degree in Welding Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Education, Human Resources Development, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered. Minimum 5-7 years of welding industry experience, including training Ability to read and interpret blueprints is strongly preferred. Familiarity with basic welding tools, techniques, and safety procedures.
Physical Requirements:
Stand at the weld station throughout the work shift. Walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently during the shift. Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds to waist level; frequently lift 25-40 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above the shoulders. Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to changing assignments and multitask effectively.
