POSITION OVERVIEW
The Toast Master is responsible for operating and monitoring industrial toasting equipment to ensure products are toasted according to company quality and safety standards. This role supports efficient production by maintaining proper equipment settings, monitoring product consistency, and ensuring all processes comply with the company's Quality Management System.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work production of assigned area or task based on qualification each day. Operation of the Toasters, Chipper, and bagging process equipment. 1. Toaster operations require the ability to work in a high temperature area of operation for extended periods of time. 2. Toaster, Chipper, and Bagging operations requires hearing protection, face mask/ respirator, and the ability to work in a high tempo environment. 3. Operation of scales that measure the product (White Oak Chips) being toasted prior to toasting and prior to the bagging process is also required. 4. Operation of the forklift as additional required equipment will be trained and then tested on site to meet Oak Chips Inc. requirements. Prior experience is a plus. How to complete all documentation associated with the toasting process. Adhere to company safety guidelines. Provide feedback on issues as they occur throughout the production day. Complete all required quality checks for their assigned area each day throughout the production process. Maintain good attendance. Constantly look for ways to improve the production and quality processes. Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures for each piece of equipment. Ask questions. Be proactive and remain gainfully employed throughout the workday. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Adhere to company policies and procedures for all operational aspects of the job. Any additional task or qualification on other equipment as needed.

Creative mindset with strong visual and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Self-starter with strong initiative. Adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
COMPENSATION
The specific starting rate will depend on the chosen candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
