Temp-to-Hire Job Order #: 126441 Position Overview Stand-By Personnel is seeking a skilled Fin Press Operator to join a heat exchanger manufacturing team in Claremore. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining fin press equipment used to manufacture aluminum, copper, and other metal fins for heat exchanger production. The ideal candidate has previous machine operation or manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to make equipment adjustments while maintaining precise dimensions, quality standards, and production requirements. Required Experience & Skills High school diploma or GED preferred Previous manufacturing equipment or stamping press experience preferred Ability to read and interpret production orders, drawings, specifications, and work instructions Basic math and measurement skills Ability to use measuring tools and gauges accurately Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality Ability to work independently and as part of a production team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Essential Duties & Responsibilities Set up and operate fin press machines used in heat exchanger production Manufacture aluminum, copper, and other metal fins according to engineering specifications Load raw materials into fin press equipment and monitor production runs Read and interpret blueprints, production orders, work instructions, and specifications Make machine adjustments to maintain required fin dimensions, patterns, and tolerances Perform first-piece, in-process, and final quality inspections Use measuring tools and gauges to verify finished products meet dimensional requirements Monitor equipment performance and identify mechanical issues or production abnormalities Remove defective or nonconforming materials and report quality concerns to supervisors Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance tasks Record production quantities, quality checks, downtime, and material usage accurately Assist with material handling and inventory activities as needed Maintain clean and organized work areas according to 5S standards Support continuous improvement efforts focused on productivity, quality, and waste reduction Follow all company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements Preferred Qualifications Previous fin press or stamping press operating experience Heat exchanger or HVAC manufacturing experience Automotive or metal fabrication manufacturing experience Machine setup and adjustment experience Experience performing in-process quality inspections Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and industrial equipment troubleshooting Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive hand movements Manual dexterity to safely handle materials, tools, and machine components Ability to safely operate production machinery while wearing required PPE Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures Work Environment Industrial manufacturing and heat exchanger production facility Regular operation of fin press and metal-forming equipment Exposure to industrial machinery, metal materials, production noise, dust, and varying temperatures Fast-paced environment requiring consistent attention to machine performance, dimensional accuracy, and product quality Safety-focused workplace requiring strict adherence to machine guarding and Lockout/Tagout procedures Why You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive starting pay of $24.00/hour Consistent day-shift schedule Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Weekly pay Opportunity to develop specialized fin press and metal-forming skills Hands-on experience with machine setup, quality inspection, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance Excellent opportunity for continued growth in machine operation, heat exchanger manufacturing, and skilled production roles Ready to Apply?
