Job Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Environmental Operator for a contract opportunity in Miami, OK.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
(REQUIRED
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
):
  • Up to 6 months of work experience in manufacturing/production is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • All employees must be able to read and follow instructions both written and oral
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to infrequently lift and manipulate up to 40 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion
  • Ability to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and understand chemical hygiene, including labels and SDS (Safety Data Sheets)
  • Flexibility/willingness to adapt to operational needs
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced controlled environment with additional overtime as required
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work safely following all safety requirements
  • Work diligently, following work instruction documents and standard operating procedures
  • Use your strong attention to detail to assemble products following guidelines, blueprints and drawings closely
  • Record correct and accurate documentation in Production Control Documents
  • Inspect in-process and finished products as well as package and pull from archives for product sampling.
  • Help us get better by actively participating in our PPI (Practical Process Improvements), Lean and Continuous Improvement activities including 5S activities
  • Help our team to do better by assisting in training co-workers
  • Other duties as assigned
