Position Summary Part-Time Position Location:
Norman, OK The Decal Production Assistant helps produce our helmet decals inside the GDS Norman facility. This role supports the Director of Decals with hands-on production, prepping artwork, and keeping jobs moving smoothly. No sales, no quotas, no client chasing. Just steady production work with a creative edge. Core ResponsibilitiesProduction & Printing Operate thermal printers, plotters, laminators, and cutting equipment. Prep artwork for production including layout, color checks, and cut-line setup. Assist in managing production timelines to ensure orders stay on schedule. Troubleshoot print or cut issues and communicate needs to the Director of Decals. Help maintain materials, tools, and a clean production area. Design Support Assist with basic decal or logo layout projects. Create digital helmet mockups using provided templates. Maintain brand consistency and follow established GDS production standards. Help refine templates or workflows that keep artwork requests moving faster. General Support Coordinate with the team on job priorities and daily production needs. Package orders for shipping when needed. Perform other duties that help the production team stay efficient. Experience & Skills Interest in sports and sports design. Experience with Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW preferred. Familiarity with vinyl printing, cutting, or finishing equipment is a bonus. Training is available. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication skills and ability to work independently. Comfortable managing multiple tasks without losing quality. Tech-savvy enough to work in email, basic office software, and simple workflow tools. Positive attitude and the desire to grow with a rapidly expanding company.
