Farm Production AssociatePay:
$15.00/hour to start
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30
PM Lunch:
30 minutes
Environment:
Indoor climate-controlled production and outdoor farm workPosition SummaryWe are hiring dependable, hardworking Farm Production Associates to support both indoor production and outdoor farming operations at an established agricultural operation producing cannabis and traditional vegetable crops.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys variety. Depending on the needs of the farm, employees may spend part of their time indoors sorting, weighing, and packaging products and part of their time outdoors planting, tending, and harvesting crops.

ResponsibilitiesIndoor ProductionSort, inspect, weigh, and package products for sale.

Accurately measure products and perform basic weight conversions.

Label and organize finished products.

Maintain product quality and follow established handling procedures.

Clean and sanitize workstations, tools, equipment, and production areas.

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.

Outdoor Farm OperationsPlant, tend, and harvest crops.

Assist with watering, weeding, cultivation, and general field maintenance.

Prepare planting areas and assist with seasonal crop production.

Operate a walk-behind tiller and other small agricultural equipment when trained.

Assist with automated planting equipment.

Operate a small tractor when trained and authorized.

Collect, load, and transport harvested products.

Maintain tools, equipment, fields, and work areas.

RequirementsDependable with strong attendance and punctuality.

Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.

Able to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.

Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive physical work throughout the shift.

Able to safely lift and carry farm products, materials, and equipment.

Basic math skills and a working knowledge of weight measurements and conversions.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Willingness to learn and perform a variety of agricultural and production duties.

Previous farming, cultivation, landscaping, greenhouse, production, packaging, or general labor experience is helpful but not required.

OMMA Credential RequirementEmployees must have or be able to obtain the required OMMA credentials.

Candidates who do not currently have their credentials are still encouraged to apply. Farm will assist qualified employees with the credentialing process.

Candidates must be able to successfully pass the required OSBI background check to qualify for OMMA credentials.
