This role helps coordinate production documentation, inventory, shipping and receiving, purchasing, material requirements, and basic facility support. The position serves as a central point of coordination between production, management, suppliers, carriers, and contractors to help maintain an organized and efficient manufacturing operation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate raw-material requirements, availability, and order status with operations teams. Prepare and maintain work orders, production travelers, labels, and other required production documentation. Support production scheduling by monitoring priorities, material availability, work-order status, shipment commitments, and potential delays. Enter and maintain accurate transactions in ERP/MRP and production-control systems, including work orders, receipts, material movements, and inventory issues. Prepare shipping documents, labels, packing information, and related records, and coordinate carrier pickups and loading activities. Perform cycle counts and physical inventories, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records. Monitor consumables, operating supplies, and equipment needs and place approved purchase orders as required. Maintain organized production, inventory, shipping, receiving, purchasing, quality, and traceability records. Coordinate routine facility maintenance, service appointments, contractor visits, and site access. Communicate material shortages, damaged goods, documentation issues, shipment delays, maintenance concerns, and other operational risks. Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, contractors, production employees, and management to support efficient daily operations. Provide backup support for production control, purchasing, inventory, shipping, receiving, and other administrative functions as needed. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years of experience in manufacturing administration, production control, inventory, shipping and receiving, purchasing, warehouse operations, or a related field. Experience preparing and maintaining accurate operational records and documentation. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, identify problems, and escalate issues appropriately. Preferred Qualifications Experience in aerospace, composites, chemical, automotive, or another regulated manufacturing environment. Experience using Quickbooks, ERP/MRP, inventory, shipping, or production-control systems. Experience monitoring production schedules, preparing operational reports, and coordinating priorities across departments. Knowledge of work orders, production travelers, bills of material, purchase orders, cycle counting, and document control. Employees must be able to perform prolonged computer work, frequently stand and walk, bend and reach, and move materials weighing up to 35 pounds. Assistance or material-handling equipment should be used for heavier items. The manufacturing environment may include normal industrial noise, moving equipment, temperature variations, and regulated materials. Required personal protective equipment must be worn.
