Read prints for required specifications and dimensions Set up and operate standard manufacturing equipment, including overhead cranes and forklifts Support logistic needs, including needs from shop personnel, unloading of equipment from trucks, and moving materials to their required locations Provide support as needed to structure bay fabrication Perform introductory shop tasks, such as grinding or deburring Support COF Safety Department's directives, including visual inspection of equipment and installation of basic safety items, such as signage Be diligent with housekeeping duties to help maintain a clean and orderly shop environment Complete assigned work within given time frame and according to specifications Perform other job responsibilities as assigned Knowledge, skills and abilities High school diploma or equivalent Understanding of manufacturing tools and their proper use Strong mechanical aptitude Ability and willingness to follow directions Ability to work both independently and in a team setting Verbal communication skills Physical requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs., sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, etc. Work environment may include high noise areas, working at heights, confined spaces, congested work sites, shift work, duration rotations, shop setting, etc.
