In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring efficient manufacturing operations by assembling components, operating machinery, and maintaining high safety standards. Your hands-on expertise will contribute to delivering quality products on time while supporting continuous process improvements. Responsibilities Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely, including forklifts and power tools, adhering strictly to safety protocols. Assemble products using hand tools, mechanical knowledge, and interpreting technical drawings accurately. Measure components with precision using measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met. Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and moving materials within the factory environment. Interpret production documents, work orders, and technical specifications to execute tasks correctly. Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements in manufacturing workflows. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety standards in production at all times. Skills Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory setting with familiarity in assembly line processes. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. Ability to interpret technical drawings and production documents accurately. Experience with forklift operation and manual handling techniques required for heavy lifting tasks. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including lean manufacturing principles and safety protocol adherence. Skilled in managing production or assembly teams, demonstrating leadership and process management capabilities. Technical proficiency with manufacturing management systems and a keen eye for process improvement opportunities.
