We are currently looking for qualified candidates for a General Shop Laborer/Sandblaster position on our Swing shift (Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm, 40+ hours/week). What you can expect to do: Work where needed, often changing from day to day independently and amongst a team Move, stack, store and transfer materials, supplies, and merchandise Be responsible for overall housekeeping and maintenance of safety standards Be responsible for operation and daily maintenance of any tools and machinery used Accurately count parts and complete data entry Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, cranes, hand tools, and precision measuring tools Blasts parts to clean and remove chemicals and agents and prepares for powder coating. Dusts off products with air gun. Ensures all jobs are cleaned, prepped, and ready for powder coating. Understands and is able to recognize surfaces for painting readiness including the presence of grit. Works with production staff to ensure best practices are implemented. Understands company cosmetic workmanship standard. Performs all other duties as assigned, which may include racking, washing, shipping, receiving, and/or powder coating.
