Production Assistant

SakéOne, the premier producer and importer of saké in the United States, is looking for a Production Assistant to join our team at our Forest Grove, Oregon brewery.

Seeking a Production Assistant that would be able to multi-task, problem solve and be enthusiastic about the alcoholic beverage industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Keep bottling line supplied with packaging material Loads, unloads, and rotates glass and materials for Bottling line/Production needs Case packing on the bottling line Inspection of bottles as they go into the case Hand apply labels on bottles when needed Change label rolls on labeler as needed Regularly operate warehouse equipment including forklift, pallet jacks and hand trucks Load and unload trucks General building sanitation and maintenance Work as part of a team, filling in where needed Other jobs and duties assigned by Bottling Line Manager Versatility, Flexibility, and a willingness to work with changing priorities Must haves: High school graduate or GED equivalent Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience Production and/or bottling line experience preferred Must be a trained and qualified forklift driver Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in written form, including ability to resolve any conflicts calmly Highly motivated and self-driven with the ability to work in a team environment and independently Must have strong problem solving skills Ability to work a flexible schedule•Due to the nature of our production, flexibility with hours and workdays (including some after hours or weekend work) may be necessary Physical Requirements Working conditions in some areas are cold/hot, wet and slippery Ability to lift 35 lbs. repeatedly, 50 lbs. occasionally Ability to stand for 8 hours+, including bending, standing and stooping Some work is performed from ladders and some of the equipment is on elevated platforms We treat our employees like family by offering paid time off, holidays, floating holidays and sick time. 6:30 am•3:00 pm

Pay Range:
