Entry Level - We Will Train Start a Career in Commercial Printing We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Production Helper to join our press room team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, likes machinery, and wants to learn a skilled trade in a production environment. Previous printing experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person. The Production Helper works directly with experienced press operators and assists with preparing jobs, staging materials, handling printed products, cleaning and maintaining work areas, and keeping production moving efficiently. For someone who demonstrates strong attendance, mechanical ability, initiative, and a willingness to learn, this position offers an opportunity to advance into Press Assistant and Press Operator positions. What You'll Do Assist press operators with press setup, production, and cleanup. Stage paper, ink, plates, pallets, and supplies for upcoming jobs. Load, unload, stack, jog, count, and palletize printed materials. Move paper and finished products throughout the production area. Prepare pallets and containers for finished jobs. Assist with press wash-ups and general equipment cleaning. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized press room. Remove and properly dispose of production waste and recycling. Assist with basic equipment maintenance after receiving proper training. Learn how to identify different papers, inks, plates, and printing materials. Help inspect finished products for obvious quality problems. Follow job tickets and instructions from press operators and supervisors. Accurately report waste and material usage when assigned. Assist other production departments as needed. Follow all company safety procedures. What We're Looking For Printing experience is not necessary. We are looking for someone who brings the right attitude and work ethic.

Dependable and shows up to work on time. Mechanically inclined and comfortable working around machinery. Willing to learn and take direction. Able to stay productive without constant supervision. Detail-oriented and quality-conscious. Comfortable performing physical work throughout the shift. Able to work as part of a production team. Interested in learning a skilled trade and taking on additional responsibility. Manufacturing, warehouse, automotive, construction, machine operation, farming, or other hands-on experience is a plus but not required. Physical Requirements This is an active manufacturing position.
Candidates must be able to:
Stand and walk for extended periods. Regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements. Safely move paper, pallets, carts, and production materials. Work around operating machinery and normal manufacturing noise. Wear required personal protective equipment.
