• 7:00 AM Four 10-hour shifts Job Responsibilities As a Shop Assistant, you will work under the direction of experienced operators and assist in a variety of manufacturing and production functions, including: Loading raw materials and removing finished parts from laser equipment Assisting with deburring, sanding, and grinding metal components Supporting quality inspection activities and moving parts as directed Assisting with brake press operations Supporting welding and spot welding departments Installing hardware and inserts into finished products Loading parts and assisting with wash and etch processes Assisting with paint preparation and powder coating operations Packaging products and assisting with assembly functions Performing general shop labor and other duties as assigned Qualifications Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed Strong attendance and reliability Willingness to learn multiple departments and processes Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards Benefits & Perks Paid 10-minute break Paid 20-minute lunch Three-day weekends every week Opportunity for permanent hire Wage review after 6 months of employment $1,500 Retention Bonus Employees who convert to permanent employment and successfully complete the 60-day introductory period are eligible for a $1,500 retention bonus : $750 paid after completion of the 60-day probationary period $750 paid after 6 months of employment Apply today and start building a long-term career in manufacturing!
