Job Description The Production Worker plays a key role in supporting manufacturing operations by loading and unloading rail materials, feeding machines with raw materials, and staging finished products. You will be cross-trained to work in multiple departments, contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-output production environment while working both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Load and unload rail materials safely and efficiently to support ongoing production activities. Feed machines with raw materials, ensuring continuous operation and proper material flow. Stage and organize products in designated areas to support smooth shipping and inventory processes. Work in multiple departments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to be cross-trained. Follow all safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Be willing and able to work off shifts (2nd or 3rd), including weekends and holidays as operating conditions require. Use basic hand tools and equipment correctly and safely during daily tasks. Maintain a clean and orderly work area in a very industrial environment. Essential Skills High School Diploma or GED. Ability to work independently and as part of a group. Willingness and ability to work off shifts (2nd or 3rd), including weekends and holidays as required. Strong commitment to safety, with the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards. Knowledge of basic hand tools. Capability to perform general labor tasks in a heavy industrial setting. Ability to operate or assist with machine operation under guidance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in production or manufacturing environments. Construction experience is preferred not required. Familiarity with machine operation processes. Comfort using a variety of hand tools in an industrial setting. Willingness to be cross-trained across multiple departments and job functions. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a very industrial setting that is loud, dusty, and dirty, with work often performed in an outdoor environment. Appropriate industrial work attire is required to ensure safety and comfort in this environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camp Hill, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
