Company is looking for someone that wants to work and learn how to design all kinds of ironworks, iron railings, gates, stairs etc. Metalworking experience would be great. Company is searching for individuals that can apply their talents to creating high end architectural ironworks. A team player to assist with driving and installing, design and CAD work, potentially gain experience in creating and fabricating exceptional projects. Computer/CAD skills is preferred but wiling to train. The potential candidate must have a clean driving. Creative outside the box thinking is a plus. Will be working for an Amish owned company. The willingness to learn and self-advance can be a huge asset in our team. Tasks may include but are not limited to the following: Examine completed workpieces for defects, such as chipped edges or marred surfaces and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws. Measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, or rulers. Set stops on machine beds, change dies, and adjust components, such as rams or power presses, when making multiple or successive passes. Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data. Set up, operate, or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic material.

Iron Shop/ Administrative Associate Currently hiring for an individual that either knows about metal works or is willing to learn. Company is searching for individual that can apply their talent to creating high end architectural ironworks. A team member to assist in the office with client communication, emails and documents. Being tech savvy is a plus, but attitude, aptitude and a desire more important. Individual must be creative enough to work with the team to design, create and install the client's dream project. Individual must be a team player, able to admit mistakes, and communicate effectively and professionally with clients, vendors and coworkers. The willingness to learn and self-advance can be a huge asset in our team. Must have a reasonably clean drivers record, able to assist with sales and marketing, appearances at trade shows, conferences, client meetings and project design meetings, sometimes out of state. Primarily an office job, some aspects can be physically demanding such as setting up trade show booth, touring properties to look at projects, loading and unloading sample boxes, lifting up to 50 lbs. climbing a ladder to take measurements, assist with an install, etc. Able to bring a cheerful, can-do attitude to do what it takes to get the job done and make the client happy. A background in welding, carpentry, cabinetry, etc. is a plus. We realize we work in a specialized field, but are willing to train an individual that is aspiring to develop his talent. Attention to detail is must, but still able to work effectively and efficiently. Because every project we do has it's unique requests, an individual will need to be able to adapt, implement outside-the-box thinking to effectively sole clients dilemma. Punctuality is important for ultimate team member engagement. Will be working for an Amish owned company, the ability to understand or speak Dutch would be a plus but not a requirement.
