Job Description

Tempstar Staffing in Hanover, PA is seeking experienced Production Lead candidates for our client in the Hanover, PA area. Seeking a dependable, hands-on Manufacturing Lead to support daily production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual will work closely with the Plant Manager and help oversee day-to-day operations, assist with production, coordinate workflow, and step in to lead the team when needed. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong leadership skills and experience in manufacturing.
Production Lead Duties:
Assist with the daily operation of the manufacturing facility. Support the Plant Manager with production scheduling and workflow. Lead and motivate production employees to meet daily goals. Step into a leadership role when the Plant Manager is unavailable. Operate production equipment and assist with machine setups as needed. Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and routine maintenance. Safely operate forklifts to move materials and finished products. Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments. Monitor quality standards and production efficiency. Ensure employees follow safety policies and company procedures. Train and assist new employees as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Communicate production issues and recommend process improvements.
Production Lead Requirements :
Previous manufacturing experience required. Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred. Experience operating manufacturing equipment. Forklift experience required Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting. Comfortable loading/unloading trucks and handling materials. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Dependable with excellent attendance. Willing to work alongside the production team—not just supervise. Must be comfortable working in a hot environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age to meet employment eligibility requirements.

From $25.00 per hour
