Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability Shifts:
We require that you are flexible to work any shift, weekends, overtime, and holidays. Schedule assignment upon hire is determined by plant needs. Once your training period begins, you will be assigned to a shift and/or schedule based on current plant need. You will be eligible to bid on other schedules, shifts and jobs. Regular schedule is 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Mandatory overtime could be weekly (scheduled for up to 12 hours/day, Monday through Sunday), daily (additional 4 hours on your 8-hour shift) and weekends (8 to 12-hour shifts).

    Summary:
    The Reese Plant is a highly automated food manufacturing facility. Production is fast-paced and operators are expected to work in a variety of roles in processing and packaging areas within the plant. Operators are responsible for maintaining the highest quality of food safety standards, sanitation standards, perform daily audits, and complete daily production paperwork. Following successful completion of the 90-calendar probationary period, employees will be placed on 2nd or 3rd shifts for up to 36 months.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Operate processing and/or packaging equipment Operate a fork truck Follow and interpret information from processes including performing various quality checks (i.e. metal detectors, date codes, and weight systems) and follow Autonomous Maintenance Programs (cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating equipment) Observe all safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and good housekeeping practices
    Minimum Qualifications:
    Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire Must possess a high school diploma/GED at time of hire Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English Must be flexible to work any shift during a 24-hour period (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and any variation of shift length (8 hours or 12 hours) Must be available to work weekends, holidays and overtime Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be authorized to work in the United States Must have the ability to understand and perform basic mathematics Must possess basic computer knowledge with ability to find and enter information Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and support staff
    Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience in a manufacturing/food manufacturing environment Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Experience with Safe Quality Foods (SQF) practices and Food Safety requirement and documentation practices Experience with Autonomous Maintenance (AM) / Preventative Maintenance (PM) Experience with Continuous Improvement methodology Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) such as
    SAP / LPR
    Physical Demands:
