1st Shift - Production Worker Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our team for the 1st shift, operating Monday to Thursday from 6 AM to 4:30 PM. The role involves working on various production tasks, ensuring high-quality output and efficient processes. This position offers weekly pay and immediate interviews. Responsibilities Handle all aspects of the production process, including product selection, packaging, assembly, finishing, and shipping. Follow layouts to apply computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic images onto predetermined substrates or mediums. Prepare substrates for vinyl application, which may involve cutting, painting, laminating, and cleaning. Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images, utilizing various techniques depending on size, type of vinyl, and image complexity. Operate and maintain printers. Perform quality assurance measures both pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting work orders and proofing for errors or unacceptable standards. Execute finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting printed pieces. Monitor inventory levels and report stock to be reordered. Clean and maintain storage areas. Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Essential Skills Experience in production, assembly, and general production processes. Proficiency in inspection and handling hand tools. Competency in general labor and machine operation. Ability to load materials and use a tape measure effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to stand for long periods. Capability to lift 50 or more pounds. Flexibility to lean over waist-high tables and use back-and-forth hand motions for applying vinyl letters and graphics. Ability to work under pressure to deliver high-volume, high-quality work. Experience with light power equipment. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lancaster, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
