Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machining Production Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start their careers in machining and manufacturing. You will work closely with an experienced machinist, gaining valuable skills and knowledge in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Operate machinery, including saws and milling machines, to produce precision parts. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for machining tasks. Install thread inserts as per engineering specifications. Perform quality checks using bore gauges and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy. Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times. Preparing and saw cutting material for machining. Loading and Unloading parts from the machining center. Deburring parts post the machining operations. Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge is preferred; familiarity with machining concepts is a plus. Experience operating forklifts is beneficial but not mandatory. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely. Willingness to learn about tooling, machining techniques, and fabrication processes. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay:

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
