Job Description

Event Production AssistantAbout the Role We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Event Production Assistant to join our team. This part-time position plays a critical role in helping execute weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations by assisting with equipment preparation, transportation, setup, operation, and teardown. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with technology, takes pride in creating memorable events, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get the job done. Experience with audio, lighting, video, staging, or event production equipment is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading event equipment Help prepare equipment and vehicles prior to events Set up and tear down audio, lighting, video, photo booth, and event production equipment Follow event setup diagrams and production plans Maintain organization of inventory, storage areas, and equipment Assist DJs, event hosts, and production team members during events Troubleshoot basic equipment issues when needed Ensure equipment is handled safely and professionally Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients, venues, and vendors Qualifications Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to learn Preferred Qualifications Experience with event production, AV equipment, DJ systems, lighting, staging, or live events Experience loading trailers or box trucks Familiarity with basic audio and lighting equipment Previous experience in the event, entertainment, hospitality, or production industries What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, coachable, and takes ownership of their work.
