The Line Lead will operate in our cold storage warehouse. This is a Weekend shift position working from Friday through Sunday from 6 am to 6 pm. Production Team Lead Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead, coordinate, and prioritize the operational tasks directed by the supervisor. Communicate and execute work assignments to meet set expectations by department and customer requirements. Communicate with and perform as an assistant for all staff and departments such as the supervisors, support staff, leadership, and front-line employees. Communicate with customers and their needs. Prepare job-related paperwork. Escalate work-related and interpersonal issues to leadership as needed. Perform quality checks and report failures to the supervisor. Assist and coordinate training for new and current employees. Supervise employees to ensure they are following Safety and Quality processes and regulations. Be a resource for Safety, QA, and Company processes and procedures. Handle any minor tasks related to the duties of the position. Follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards. Excellent attendance and punctuality are mandatory for an hourly role. Job requirements

Production Team Lead Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

High School Diploma/GED required Six months of material handling equipment/forklift experience preferred Experience in leading, supervising and training associates preferred Experience using warehouse management and inventory systems preferred Experience with the refrigeration, warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment preferred Experience with computers and Microsoft Office preferred Experience following safety procedures preferred Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes potential overtime, weekends, and different work schedules Ability to communicate effectively in English Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Production Team Lead Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This is largely a static role withstanding, however, the ability to perform repetitive bending and standing up is also required. This would require the ability to lift 10-35 lbs. repetitively and up to 45 lbs. occasionally. This role operates in a wet and cold/refrigerated environment (between 38 and -20 degrees Fahrenheit) located within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production-type facility.
